Fenwick Island Oceanfront Rental

Take a left on Coastal Highway and drive until you get to the ocean to find the big, loud and honky-tonky Ocean City boardwalk.  Lots of rides, and a lot of fun at night.  If you have small children or like an easier pace, head in the opposite direction and you'll find the smaller boardwalks of Bethany Beach and Rehoboth.  But -- Fenwick has a bay side boardwalk of it's own:  

Fenwick Island's own Viking Golf and Thunder Lagoon Waterpark is a quick walk across Coastal Highway features 18 hole mini golf, a waterpark, go-carts, and concessions.  Be sure to check their website for coupons. 

Fenwick Island has a number of cute shops but these are the "classic, must visit" beach stores that are an essential part of the Fenwick Island experience.  They are all in walking distance on Coastal Highway.  Sea Shell City offers not just sea shell curios and hermit crabs, but a Shipwreck Museum. Seaside Country Store offers food, cheeses, fudge, retro candies and every order of knick knack, complete with a "Christmas Shoppe" and Maryland sports fan items. Pottery Place is full of funky finds and lawn art from all over the work, and there's a really nice coffee shop in the back that opens at 8 am. 

Fisher's makes the world's best popcorn -- we love the caramel and crab-spice-dusted-caramel.  Get a couple big tubs for family movie night in our living room, and take home tubs for the dog walker and guinea pig sitter. 

The beach in front of the Fenwick Island Oceanfront Rental is guarded during the summer season and is dramatically less congested than the beaches of Ocean City, Bethany or Rehoboth.
